Mrs. Julie Ann Frame Tippin, 61, died unexpectedly in Virginia Saturday, May 23, 2009. She was a native of Long Beach, Calif., and a resident of Brewton since 1974. She was a registered nurse and worked with the Red Cross and Girl Scouts. She was a foster parent and a swimming instructor. She was preceded in death by her father, J.E. Frame.
She is survived by her mother, Vivian Frame; her brother, Michael (Linda) Frame; her daughter, Hallie (Ken) Knowles; a son, Michael Clay (Allie) Tippin; three grandchildren, Drew and Sierra Knowles,  and Tyler Tippin; nieces, Karen and Katie Frame; and many other friends and relatives.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 28, from 4 until 6 p.m. followed immediately by funeral services at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Colley officiating. A private burial will follow.
