TRM football launches new site
With modern technology becoming more and more everyday, the T.R. Miller Tiger football team started a new website for their program Friday afternoon.
The Tigers had a current website, but Riggs said this one is different.
According to the Web site, you can find all the latest information on the Tigers including important dates and announcements.
On the navigation menu you will find a coaches tab where you can go to read bios of all the coaches.
Also, there is a tab about the Quarterback Club, Facilities, Miller History, Schedule/Results, and the Podcast page.
The site offers an opportunity to enjoy both video and audio materials involving T.R. Miller HIgh School  football. Podcasts are also available for dounloads. iPod and iPhone users may also download files to their devices at the site.
Other tabs at the site include photo albums with hihlights from the previous season.
JDCC baseball to have camp in June
Jefferson Davis Community College head baseball coach Darrell Blevins will be holding a high school team baseball camp in June.
The camp will be Monday, June 1 through June 5 from 8 a.m. to noon at JDCC Warhawk field.  The camp is open to 2010 high school varsity and junior varsity players and will be $50 per participant.  For more information, please call Blevins at 251-809-1563.
Siran Stacy to speak in Brewton
The Escambia County Alabama Alumni & Friends Chapter will hold its Spring Meeting and Membership Drive on Thursday, June 4 at the Country Club of Brewton at 6:30 p.m. with guest Speaker  Siran Stacy.
Cost per person  is $20 and will include a shrimp and prime rib dinner.
