Mrs. Bertha Mix Foster died Tuesday, May 19, 2009. She was a native of Atmore and a resident of Brewton.
She is survived by her six children, Fred (Susie) Foster of Mobile, Joseph Foster of Brewton, Mary Lou (Sylvester) Hollins of Posada, Calif., Peggy Jean (Leonard) McCullough of Junction City, Kansas, Henry Foster of Los Angeles, Calif., and Earline (Hosea) Chambers of Torrance, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Jimmie Lou Moorer of Bay Minette; a friend, Gussie Harris of Brewton; and a host of other family and friends.
Graveside funeral services were held Tuesday, May 26, at 11 a.m. at Greater Piney Grove Cemetery with the Rev. William Brown officiating and Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
