Mrs. Linda Faye Singleton, 64, died Saturday, May 30, 2009, in a Pensacola hospice facility. She was a native of Brewton and a resident of Jay since 2005, coming from Marietta, Ga. She was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served in the Vietnam era. She was a member of the Brewton Community of Christ Church.
She is survived by her husband, John W. Singleton of Jay; three sons, Travis Singleton of Jay, Andrew Singleton of Marietta, and John Singleton II of Sand Springs, Okla.; two daughters, Crystal Kelly and Kimberly Salamors, both of Sand Springs; three sisters, Elizabeth Ann Salter, Mary Katherine Kirby and Debra Steadman, all of East Brewton; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 3, at 10 a.m. with Elder Darrell Kelly officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
