Mr. William Floyd “Junior” Simmons Jr., 58, died Friday, June 5, 2009, in Houston, Texas, after a brief illness. He was a native and life-long resident of Escambia County, and owned and operated AA Radiator in Brewton. He was of the Nazarene faith and was preceded in death by his father, William Floyd Simmons Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Mae Simmons of Brewton; his wife, Wanda Simmons of East Brewton; a son, Greg (Stacey) Simmons of East Brewton; a brother, Tommy Simmons of Brewton; and one grandson, Dillan Simmons of East Brewton.
Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 10, at 10 a.m. at Fort Crawford Cemetery with the Rev. James Meadows officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
