With the much-awaited summer holiday of July 4 inching closer to us, Brewton and East Brewton residents are urged to have caution with and around fireworks.
City of East Brewton Fire Chief Joey Shell stated the same for the city of East Brewton.
Shell said people need to know that if they set a fire to a field or house or anything with fireworks, they are legal for it.
Shell also said children are injured every year playing with fireworks.
Shell added that every year at the Fourth of July celebration in East Brewton, police are there to monitor the situation as well.
