Mrs. Tamara Olaru Prusan, 85, died Thursday, June 25, 2009, at her residence on Rosemary Avenue after a brief illness. She was a native of Chisinau, Moldova (Romania). She was a retired text editor with the publishing industry and was of the Christian Orthodox faith.
She is survived by a son, Radu Prusan of Bucharest, Romania; a daughter, Rodica (John) Angel of Brewton; and three grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in Bucharest, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing local arrangements.
