Mrs. Pamela Kay Kast Williams, 45, died Sunday, June 28, 2009, at her residence after a brief illness. She was a native of Monroe County, and a long time resident of Conecuh County, before moving to McKenzie. She was of the Baptist faith and a seamstress.
She is survived by her father, James Kast of Castleberry; her mother, Claudia (James) McDaniel of Castleberry; a son, Ryan McDaniel of Castleberry, a daughter, Amanda Horton of Repton; her husband, Leonard Raines of Mixonville; three brothers, James Richard (Paula) Kast of Castleberry, Terry (Angie) Kast of Monroeville and Jerry (Angie) Kast of Repton; two grandchildren, Griffin Robinson and Elise Hoton; nieces, Amy Kast and Allison Kast; and three nephews, Karl Kast, Aaron Kast and Michael Kast.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 1, at 10 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Pitts officiating. Burial followed at New Hopewell Cemetery in Castleberry, with Williams Memorial Chapel  Funeral Home directing.
