Wreck kills local woman

One person was fatally injured Sunday afternoon at 4:30 when the vehicle, in which she was riding, rolled over on Alabama 41 north of Brewton.
According to the Alabama Department of Public Safety, Angela Faye Dixon, 45, of Brewton, was killed when she was ejected from the 2000 Nissan Pathfinder in which she was a passenger. The driver of the vehicle was 43 year-old Scottie Earl Bradley of Brewton, who was injured and transported to D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital.
Alabama Troopers said the accident occurred about 2.4 miles north on Alabama 41 around 4:30 p.m. According to preliminary reports, the vehicle apparently left the road and overturned, ejecting Dixon, who was not wearing a safety belt.
The accident is still under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.
