Mrs. Velma White Miller, 86, died Saturday, July 4, 2009, at a Gulf Breeze nursing facility. She was a native of Brewton, and a resident of Trussville for most of her life before moving to Gulf Breeze in 2003. She was a homemaker and a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Trussville.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Floyd G. Miller of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; a son, Donald J. Miller of Leeds; two daughters, Cathy Blow of Navarre, Fla., and Mary E. Miller of Gulf Breeze; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 7, at 10 a.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Gary Leopard officiating. Burial followed at Pineview Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
