More teams state bound|10-11s join road to state

In the championship game of the 10- and 11-year-old Little League district tournament, Brewton defeated Escambia County 14-4 Thursday night in East Brewton.
With the win, the team became the second Little League team from Brewton to be heading to the state tournament this post-season.
Brewton manager Lew Najor was proud of the championship win for Brewton.
Brewton used a five-run third and fourth inning to take a 12-4 win and added two more runs in the sixth inning for the 10-run win.
Escambia County held a 2-0 lead after the first inning, but Brewton tied the game at 2-2 with two runs in the second inning.
Cole Blackmon was 3-for-5 with a triple and two RBIs and Jarrod Cooper was also 3-for-5 with two doubles and five RBIs in the win.
Ethan Tyree was 2-for-5 with one RBI and Trippe Floyd was 1-for-4. Jonathon Lucas was also 1-for-4 in the win.
Tyree picked up the win as he went two innings and allowed three runs on one hit, walked three, hit three, and struck out one.
Floyd relieved Tyree and went 3 2/3 innings and allowed four runs on five hits, struck out three, walked three and hit one.
Cooper went the final 1/3 of an inning and struck out one.
For Escambia County, Malcolm Hawthorne was 1-for-2 with a triple and two RBIs and Colton Morris was 1-for-3 with two RBIs.
Kainoa Gumapac was 1-for-3 and Dalton Shell was 1-for-3 in the loss and Tyler Weaver and Josh Fields were both 1-for-2.
Lane Chavers took the loss on the mound as he went two innings and allowed seven runs on five hits, walked three and hit two.
Hunter Colley went one inning and struck out two and Gumapac went 2/3 of an inning and allowed five runs on two hits.
Weaver went the final 2 1/3 innings and allowed two runs on five hits, walked one and struck out two.
Tuesday night: Brewton 10, Escambia County 0
Cole Blackmon allowed one hit and struck out four and pitched a shutout to lead the Brewton 10- and 11-year-old All Stars to a 10-0 win over Escambia County Tuesday night in East Brewton.
With the win, Brewton was sitting at 2-0 in the tournament in the winners bracket.
In two games, Brewton has outscored their opponents 18-0.
The lone hit in the game for Escambia County was a bunt single in the top of the first inning by Kainoa Gumapac.
Brewton held a 1-0 lead after the second inning and then added a run in the fifth inning for a 2-0 lead.
In the top of the sixth inning, Brewton scored eight runs and held Escambia County scoreless in the bottom of the sixth inning to claim the 10-0 win.
Offensively for Brewton in the win, Jake Najor was 1-for-3 and Brooks Brown was 2-for-4.
Ethan Tyree was 1-for-3 and Trippe Floyd was 2-for-4. Blackmon was 1-for-3 with a double and Jared Cooper was 2-for-3 with a double.
Jonathon Lucas was 1-for-2 with a double and Will Smith was 1-for-1 in the win.
Dalton Shell took the loss for Brewton going 5 1/3 innings and allowing two runs.
