Mr. Kenneth Ray “Kenny” Rose, 53, died Sunday, July 12, 2009, in a St. Petersburg, Fla., medical facility after an extended illness. He was a native of Atmore, and a long time resident of Brewton, before moving to Orange Park. He was of the Protestant faith and employed as a tool pusher in the oil field.
He is survived by two sons, Steven Cooper of Brewton, and Chris Rose of Florida; three daughters, Denice Hardan, Donna Mitchell and Dawn Miller, all of Brewton; five brothers, Ronnie Rose of Atmore, Bill Rose of Texas, Charlie Rose and John Rose, both of Brewton, and Steve Rose of Flomaton; two sisters, Debbie Kirk of Atmore, and Alice Grantham of Brewton; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 15, from 6 until 9 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 16, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. David Dykes officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Crawford Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
