Mr. James Rudolph Potts, 79, died Sunday, July 19, 2009, in a Mobile nursing facility after an extended illness. He was a native of Conecuh County and a resident of Mobile. He was a retired farm hand and he was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Potts.
He is survived by a brother, Douglas Potts of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Madeline Norred of Montgomery, Barbara Kamburis of Houston, and Marilyn Reeves of Brewton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services were held Tuesday, July 21, at 11 a.m. at Old Town Cemetery in Evergreen, with the Rev. Jack Fitts officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
