Coutry music superstar Reba McEntire opened the Wind Creek Casino and Hotel’s amphitheater Friday night with a “flawless” show.
About 2,500 people attended.
McEntire, who played for 70 minutes, is on tour promoting her new album, “Keep On Loving You.”
Tim Ramer, director of guest services for PCI Gaming, said the casino could not have been happier with the staging of the first concert at the amphitheater.
Ramers said not only were they happy with their execution of the event, but they also received positive reviews from the entertainer’s camp.
Concertgoers too have also relayed positive reviews particularly regarding the intimacy the venue afford, according to Ramer. “The concertgoers were very pleased,” he said. “Reba put on a great show and they loved the intimate setting of the amphitheatre. I don’t know of another venue where you’re that close to the artists. There’s not a bad seat anywhere inside the amphitheatre.”
Next to perform at the amphitheater is Hank Williams Jr. on Aug. 29, Bret Michaels on Oct. 9 and Keith Sweat on Oct. 16.
