Children participating in an Alabama State University summer program have been busy learning a variety of skills and artistic projects this summer — and they are poised to show off their wares Saturday.
ASU Southern Normal will host a Community Summer Festival at 10 a.m. Saturday at Burnt Corn Creek Park, and the children who have been attending a two-week summer camp will show off the products they have designed at camp.
The festival is a great way for Brewton residents to show their support not only for these future business people but also for Southern Normal, a unique school that offers ASU a chance to have a strong presence in our community.
