The Greater Brewton Golf Association is currently forming and will hold its first tournament next Saturday with a 7:30 a.m. tee time at Dogwood Hills Golf Course in Brewton.
The tournament today will be a Skins-Only tournament and will cost $30 per person.
All GBGA members will earn a tournament-verified handicap that will be used for all future handicapped tournaments.
Hill say Whiting Field usually has about 100 to 150 golfers in the early mornings at their tournaments.
So for those who do not know what a Skins-Only tournament is, Hill explained it.
Hill said the organization is just now getting organized and once the tournament starts on Saturday, an organizational meeting will be held. Interested persons  should call 251-809-1750 for more information.
