Mrs. Carolyn Moses, 63, died Friday, July 24, 2009, in a local care center. She was a native of Alabama, and moved to Sulphyr. She owned and operated the C&L Quick Stop in Sulphur.
She is survived by her husband, Delbert H. Moses, four step-children, Jamie Antonio, Pat Moses, Dubby Moses and Albert Moses; three sisters Burnice Baker, Ardell Hammack, and Mazie Gay; one brother, Horace Pugh, seven step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 28, at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Dore’ Langley officiating. Burial followed in Hopewell Cemetery in DeRidder, La., with Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home directing.
