The Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawk volleyball team has finished summer workouts and is working toward their 2009 season opener.
Nims said she has 15 players this season — five returners and 10 freshmen.
While the team may have 10 freshmen, Nims said there is some experience.
Nims and the Lady Warhawks began official practice on Saturday, Aug. 1 and are practicing for their first game coming in late August.
The games will be conference games for the Lady Warhawks as will the first four games of the 2009 season.
JDCC has 24 total games this season with 11 games being home and 13 away games. JDCC will have 13 conference games.
