Brewton City Schools Superintendent Lynn Smith said Thursday that while at least two students at two different schools have been sent home with flu-like symptoms, there are no confirmed cases of H1N1 flu virus among children in the schools.
Smith also said he is expecting students to come down with the disease this fall — especially before a vaccine is available — but that the flu is not as severe as officials originally feared last spring. H1N1 is commonly known as "swine flu."
