Michael Miller may be a new face in town in Brewton, but he may not be a face many would want to see.
SinceMiller is the new athletic trainer for local schools, seeing him might mean you’re injured or needing medical help.
Miller, 22, officially began work on Monday, Aug. 3.
He is a graduate of Central High School in Florence and is a recent graduate of the University of Alabama.
While in Tuscaloosa he worked with football, men’s basketball and women’s track on the college level as well as high school football.
Working for Encore, he will serve as trainer for all Tiger sports and will also work with athletes from Flomaton, W.S. Neal and JDCC as well as T.R. Miller.
While Miller’s job is athletic training, he had other dreams.
Miller just started with Encore about three weeks ago and this is his first job.
Miller said there are pros and cons to his job.
While in high school, Miller played football and worked out and did workout competitions. He said he just has one main thing that he looks forward to while working in Brewton and for the area’s sports teams.
T.R. Miller head football coach and athletic trainer Jamie Riggs said he is glad to have Miller on his staff now as a trainer.
While he is new to Brewton and south Alabama, Miller had just one thing to say about people in the area.
