Fall baseball league planned for Brewton
The Brewton Little League is taking signups for its Fall Baseball League, which will begin September 1 at the YMCA Sports Park. Cost for the league is $15.  So, if a player will be in the 9-10 age division or the 11-12 age division next season, he is invited to be part of the Fall League.

Bow hunt to take place at YMCA
On Saturday, Aug 29, the Brewton\Escambia Bow hunters will be holding a 3-D archery shoot at the Brewton Area YMCA. It will be 15 targets with a 10 a.m. shotgun start.
On Saturday, Sept. 12, the Brewton\Escambia Bow hunters will be holding the annual pre-bow season bow hunter shoot with 15 targets and casual start from 9 a.m. until noon. You can join as a member of Brewton\Escambia Bow hunters and shoot these shoots free.

TRM selling tickets for ECHS game
The T.R. Miller Tigers will host Escambia County Friday, Aug. 28, at Brewton Municipal Stadium.
Kickoff will be at 7 p.m. and gates will open at 5:30 p.m. Advance tickets will be $6 and can be purchased from Pic-N-Save, Jet Pep, the Medical Center Pharmacy, BMS  or TRM. Tickets at the game will be $7. Reserve seats are still available and can be purchased in the office of T.R. Miller High School.
