Mrs. Mary Joyce Ellis, 64, died Sunday, Aug. 30, 2009 after an extended illness. She was a native and long-time resident of Brewton before moving to Pensacola, Fla. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nellie Louise Dixon.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Ellis; her son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Cindy Ellis; her daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Norm Parisey; six grandchildren, Shelby, Bailey, Anabelle and Annsley Ellis and Hunter and Savannah Parisey; a sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Calvin Dunaway; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 2 from 9 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. at Faith Chapel Funeral Home in Pensacola. Burial will follow at Dixonville Cemetery with Faith Chapel Funeral Home South directing.
Pallbearers will be Calvin Dunaway, Allen Dunaway, Charles Rotenberry, Donnie Majors, Jerry Freeman and Mike Grunert.
