First United Methodist Church of Brewton is restarting a popular Wednesday after-school program called Kids for Christ. 
Beginning Wednesday and going throughout the school year, pre-kindergarten through elementary aged children are invited to come to the church for fun, fellowship, music and Bible study.
Nelson said parents can come to pick up the children at 5:30 and then stay for the church’s Wednesday evening supper and if they wish, participate in a Bible study that begins at 6 p.m. and lasts until 6:30.  Cost for the supper is $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for children ages 12 and under.   While the adults are in the Bible study, the children have recreational activities.  The mid-high and high school age youth are in various studies that help them grow in their faith.   Reservations for the Wednesday supper are requested and can be made by calling the church at 867-8051 or by email at churchoffice@fumcbrewton.org.
