Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Tatum Kelly, 36, died Aug. 23, 2009, in Green County. She was a native of Monroe County and a resident of Excel. She attended the Excel Assembly of God Church. She was a registered nurse and graduated from Ed Reid State Technical College in Evergreen and Jefferson Davis Community College in Brewton. She was preceded in death by her son, Brandon Kelley.
She is survived by her step-father, Hector House of Beatrice; her father and mother-in-law, Stanley and Dora Gaston of Excel; a half-brother, James S. Hendrix of Evergreen; half-sisters, Dolores Galliatin of  Brewton, Delby Booker of Robertsdale and Helen Outzen of Hurley, Miss.; and various nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 26, at 2 p.m. at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home. Burial followed at  Monroe Chapel Cemetery in Frisco City, with Monroe Chapel Funeral Home directing.
