Several children were on hand Monday morning as the new splash pad opened at Dogwood Hills.
Despite an overcast sky, the only water falling came from the jets spraying across the concrete surface.
Adrian Lowery, 5, had just two words to describe the fun: "It's cool."
The splash pad will be open every day from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
