After a game that got out of hand early last Friday night in Grove Hill against Clarke County, the W.S. Neal Eagle football team will play their first home game this week against Andalusia.
Andalusia is currently 2-0 overall and 1-0 in class 4A region one after knocking off B.C. Rain last week 22-6.
W.S. Neal fell to 1-1 overall and 0-1 in region play with a 35-12 loss to Clarke County.
As for Andalusia, Jordan said they have some really good skill guys.
Jordan said that Andalusia has used three quarterbacks and No. 12 Kenneth Chambers started against B.C. Rain but later got hurt and was replaced by No. 10 Takayus Bullard.
First year Eagle offensive coordinator Robbie Grace said that his offensive unit needs to limit their turnovers.
Grace said Jeremy Nicholson has been in the backfield and that is the only constant.
Grace said the biggest thing this week to help get a win over Andalusia is ball security.
Jordan said with all that being said, one thing he does know for sure is that it will be good to play at home.
Game time between The Eagles of W.S. Neal and the Bulldogs of Andalusia is set for 7 p.m. in East Brewton.
