Mr. Alvin Wilson, 76, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009, at the Brewton residence. He was a native and life long resident of the Brewton area. He worked as a truck driver for Hanberry Logging for a number of years and was of the Holiness faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosie Wilson; a son, Billy Wayne Wilson; his parents, Eubie Lee Wilson and Ethel McCormick Wilson; three brothers, Curtis Wilson, W.C. Wilson and Edward Wilson.
He is survived by a son, Alvin Leon Wilson of Brewton; two brothers, Robert Wilson and Carl Wilson, both of Flomaton; two sisters, Annis Neese of Molino, Fla., and Allie Cross of Pace, Fla.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 4, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Neese officiating. Burial followed at Cooper Cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
