The public is invited to a special Sept. 11 commemoration event Friday, city officials said.
There will be a flag dedication at Union Cemetery at 8 a.m. Friday.
The flag, pole and light is being furnished by Woodman of the World. Steve Yuhasz, the city’s director of Community Development, said the flag was being placed at the cemetery in honor of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
