Ms. Priscilla Ann “Tee” Johnson, died Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009, She was a native of Brewton and an active member of Baptist Hill Missionary Baptist Church serving in several capacities, including secretary for 55 years. She was also active in the Evergreen District, was a member of the Olive Chapter 153 Order of Eastern Star and Alabama Retired Teachers’ Association. She was a graduate of Alabama State University with a BS., masters and an AA degree. She taught for 32 years in the county school system and retired from W.S. Neal Elementary School.
She is survived by sister, Lucille Johnson; a niece, Cassandra Ann Culliver; a great-niece, Julia (Larry) McCaskill; a cousin, Calvin (Dorothy) Matthews; and her extended family Geraldine Grace and children; two goddaughters, Kristian and Khahlah Harrison and many other friends and family.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 11 a.m. at Baptist Hill Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Eric T. Andrews and the Rev. Sidney Tucker officiating. Burial followed at Baptist Hill Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
