JDCC Lady Warhawk volleyball splits, now 3-4

The Lady Warhawk volleyball team of Jefferson Davis Community College saw their record go to 3-4 with a split in their two recent games.
JDCC lost 3-0 to NLCC and defeated PCC 3-2.
JDCC lost 25-18, 25-21, and 25-19 to NLCC before winning a five-game match against PCC.
JDCC won the first two games 25-16 and 25-20 before falling in games three and four 25-16 and 25-17 to force the fifth game.
In game five, JDCC won 15-10 to get the win.
Against NLCC, Kaitlyn Melendez had six kills along with Laney Barr. Antwinique Harris had 32 total attacks.
Lauren Himel had three service aces and Sydney Boutwell had 11 digs.
Against PCC, Barr had seven kills and Harris had 43 attacks.
Himel had six service aces and Boutwell had 14 digs.
On Monday, JDCC fell to 3-5 with a 3-1 loss to Northwest Shoals Community College.

JDCC will be back at home on Thursday, Sept. 17 against Pensacola Junior College at 6 p.m.
