A Brewton woman has been arrested in connection with an accident reported just after 6 p.m. Wednesday on Sowell Road.
Barbara Jones, 55, was arrested and charged with DUI and reckless endangerment when her vehicle made contact with a young woman and an eight-month old child near the Sowell Road and Liles Boulevard intersection.
Brewton Police Sgt. Eric Suarez said there were no injuries in the incident.
No other charges were filed in connection with the accident.
