Mr. Richard Edward Kuhlmann, 76, died Friday, Sept. 16, 2009, at his residence. He was a native of Ute, Iowa, and had been a resident of Brewton since 2004, coming from Yakima, Wash. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served with the U.S. Navy, and was a member of the Eagles organization.
He is survived by his wife, Louise M. Kuhlmann of Brewton; a son, Richard E. (Brenda Jean) Kuhlmann Jr. of Jacksonville, N.C.; four daughters, Onica Kuhlmann of Colorado, Lena Kuhlmann of Huron, Mich., Wanda Kuhlmann of Yakima and Doris (George) Olsen of Rochester, Wash.; two brothers, Jim Kuhlmann and Norman Kuhlmann, both of Yakima; 11 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were held Monday, Sept. 21, at 4 p.m. at the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Green officiating and Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
