The Lady Warhawks of Jefferson Davis Community College are currently on a 10 game losing streak as they fell to 3-14 Tuesday night.
JDCC lost to Northwest Shoals 3-1, PJC 3-0, Gulf Coast 3-0, Williston 3-0, PJC again 3-1, Faulkner State 2-0, Snead State 2-0, Southern Union 2-0, Northwest Shoals 2-0, and Southern Union again 3-0.
Also, the Lady Warhawks are currently 1-2 in conference play.
Northwest Shoals 3,
JDCC 1
JDCC lost 25-13 in game one, won game two 25-23, and lost games three and four 25-20 and 25-22.
Niki Davis led with 10 kills and 35 attacks. Lauren Himel led with four service aces and Sydney Boutwell led with 17 digs.
PJC 3,
JDCC 0
Against PJC, JDCC lost 25-9, 25-9, and 27-25.
Kaitlyn Melendez led with five kills along with five from Antwinique Harris.
Niki Davis led with 23 attacks and Caitlyn Stewart, Davis, and Laney Barr led with one service ace each.
Boutwell led with 12 digs.
Gulf Coast 3,
JDCC 0
JDCC lost to Gulf Coast 25-13, 25-15, and 25-20.
Harris led with four kills and 22 attacks along with Davis.
Chelsey Slone and Barr led with three aces and Boutwell had 17 digs in the loss.
Williston State 3,
JDCC 0
Harris led JDCC with six kills and 26 attacks.
Barr led with three aces and Boutwell had 12 digs.
PJC 3,
JDCC 1
PJC won games one and two 25-22 and 25-15. JDCC took game three 25-21 and PJC took game four 25-11.
Kaitlyn Melendez had seven kills and Davis led with 36 attacks.
Slone led with four aces and Boutwell had 15 digs.
Faulkner State 2,
JDCC 0
JDCC lost to Faulkner State 2-0 to drop their record to 3-10. JDCC lost 25-21 and 25-11.
Niki Davis led with five kills and Harris led with 28 attacks.
Caitlyn Stewart led with one ace and Boutwell had 13 digs in the loss.
Snead State 2,
JDCC 0
JDCC fell to 3-11 with a 2-0 loss to Snead State dropping game one 25-18 and game two 25-23.
Kaitlyn Melendez led with six kills and Slone led with 16 attacks.
Four Lady Warhawks had one service ace each with Melendez, Flanders, Davis and Cook having one each.
Melendez and Flanders along with Davis had four digs each.
Southern Union 2,
JDCC 0
JDCC dropped a 25-11 game one and a 25-17 game two to fall to 3-12 overall.
Slone led with three kills and Davis had eight attacks.
Barr had three aces and Boutwell led with seven digs.
Northwest Shoals 2,
JDCC 0
JDCC fell to 3-13 with their ninth straight loss as they dropped a 25-20 and a 25-18 decision to Northwest Shoals.
Davis and Harris led the Lady Warhawks with four kills each while Harris had 24 attacks. Barr had three aces and Boutwell had 12 digs.
Southern Union 3,
JDCC 0
JDCC’s losing streak grew to 10 straight losses as they dropped a 25-11, 25-12, and a 25-13 loss to Southern Union.
Davis had six kills and Harris had 31 attacks. Barr had one service ace and Boutwell had 12 digs.
