Mr. Earl Bray Jr., 84, died Friday, Sept. 25, 2009, at his residence. He was a native and lifelong member of the Wing community where he worked at Elliot’s Store for 45 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army were he received three Bronze Stars and numerous other medals. He was a former pastor of Mt. Hermon Assembly of God Church and hosted a radio program “The Good News.” He was a retired draw twist operator in the textile industry.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Belle Bray of Bradley; a son, Lance Bray of Bradley; and five grandchildren, Kevin Bray, Cody Bray, Tyler Bray, Tosha Bray and Luke Bray.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 4 p.m. at Bradley Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Charles Ganus officiating. Burial followed at Bradley Cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
