The rain may have delayed game times but it didn’t stop the action when EBYF traveled to Crestview last Saturday.
The afternoon began with the EB Midgets continuing their winning streak with a 13-12 victory over Crestviews Bulldogs.
Christian Madden (#12) led the team with 13 carries that yielded 85 yards, two touchdowns and one extra point.
Marcus Dillard (#13) had 4 carries for 34 yards, Caleb Sexton (#15) carried the ball twice for 15 yards and Colin Stinson (#22) contributed with three carries for six yards.
The Midgets defense was able to hold Crestview to 12 points with tackles by Dylan Ingram (#4), Brendan Jenkins (#5), Conner Nelson (#9) and Bryan Parker (#43).

EB Tiny Mites 6
The EB Tiny Mites did not fair as well as their younger teammates.
Offensively they wound up with a total of 136 rushing yards and only one touchdown.
Isaac Bonam (#28) had 15 carries totaling 96 yards which included EB’s solo touchdown of the game.
Jamal Duggans (#17) and Matthew Thomas (#40) each had carries for 18 yards apiece; Jennings Hobbs (#21) also contributed with a 4-yard run.
On the defensive side of the ball the Tiny Mites struggled with penalties and were not able to stop the Bulldogs.
The final score was Crestview 28-6.
Crestview 13,
East Brewton Termites 13
Once again the EB Termites were responsible for the nail biter game of the week.
Quarterback Joseph Booker (#11) completed 11 passes for 128 total yards.
Tyshawn Davis (#22) had six pass receptions for 64 yards that included two touchdowns and one extra point conversion.
Matt Hutchins (#5) was right there with four receptions for another 64 yards.
Jacoby Hawthorne (#2) was the recipient of a pass for a 1-yard gain and three yards rushing.
Keith Barksdale (#1) led the Termites with 24 yards rushing and Christian Taylor carried the ball one time for eight yards.
Leading the team in tackles and assists were Christian Taylor (#3), Matt Hutchins (#5), Duane Hamby (#8), Omar Ellington (#10), Joseph Booker (#11), Tyrese Anderson (#12), and Dshoz Lett (#33).
The fourth quarter of this game ended with a score of 6-6 and resulted in the first overtime which also ended with a 6-6 score.
That carried the Termites into the second overtime where East Brewton scored and completed the extra point conversion only to have Crestview follow behind with the same score.
Tri-County rules state in the event of a tie after triple overtime the team that comes closest to the end zone is declared the winner, therefore Crestview went on the books with a 13-13 win.
EB Pee Wees 30, Crestview 0
The final game of the night was the East Brewton Pee Wee’s continuing their winning tradition with a 30-0 victory over Crestviews Bulldogs.
Malcolm Hawthorne (#2) led the team with 12 carries that yielded 152 yards and 1- touchdown.
Miles Powell (#16) had nine carries for 53 yards and one touchdown, Mykail Johnson (#21) carried the ball seven times for 65 yards and one touchdown,
Trey Taylor (#5) carried the ball one time, which resulted in the Pee Wee’s last touchdown of the match.
The Pee Wee’s defense was able to blank the Bulldog’s with tackles by Zack Williams (#10), Trey Taylor (#5), Malcolm Hawthorne (#2) and Taylor Cole (#52).
