WSN volleyball on win streak

In a tight five-game thriller Thursday night at home, the W.S. Neal High School Lady Eagle volleyball team picked up a 3-2 win over Pleasant Home to improve their record to 8-7 with their third straight win.
W.S. Neal lost game one 25-21 before evening everything up with a 25-19 win in game two.
After winning game three 25-14, W.S. Neal lost game four 25-17 to force a fifth game.
In game five, W.S. Neal fell behind 13-11 before rallying to win 15-13 to get the win.
In game one, Haley Lum and Amanda Crawford led with three service points each and Lum having a kill and Crawford having one ace.
In game two, Malary Booker led with nine straight service points and one ace.
Megan Pence led in game three with nine straight service points.
Casey Wilson led in game four with three service points and two ace.
Crawford led in the fifth game with three service points.
W.S. Neal JV 2,
Pleasant Home 1
The JV Lady Eagles of W.S. Neal pushed their record to 7-1 Thursday night at home with a 2-1 win over Pleasant Home.
W.S. Neal lost the first game 25-21 and rallied in the second game to win 26-24 after being down 15-5 and 21-20.
In the third and final game, the Eagles held on to the lead and ended the game 15-10 to get the win.
Alia Fountain and Paige Grantham led in game one with three service points each.
Gracee Dixon led in game two with six points, one ace, and one kill.
Dixon also led in game three with five.

Monroe County 2
On Tuesday in Monroeville, W.S. Neal picked up a 3-2 win.
W.S. Neal won game one 25-21 and game two 25-16 before falling in games three and four by scores of 25-18 and 25-21.
In the fifth game, W.S. Neal won 15-7 to get the win.
Lum led with nine points in game one and Pence had six.
Wilson had eight and Lum had seven in game two.
In game three, Pence had five to lead the Lady Eagles.
In game four, Lum, Wilson, and Pence each had four in the loss.
In the fifth game, Lum had two points to lead in the win.
W.S. Neal JV 2,
Monroe County 0
The JV Lady Eagles defeated Monroe County 2-0.
That victory came in behind wins of 25-17 and 30-28 to up their record for the season.
Fountain led in both games with eight points in game one and nine points in game two to help put more marks in the win column.
