Mr. Lawrence T. “Billy” Bartlett, 79, died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009. He was a native and life long resident of Lenox. He was a member of New Haven Holiness Church and was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Bartlett and Eva Partin Bartlett; and a sister, Faye Lee.
He is survived by three brothers, John “Dunk” (Julia) Bartlett of Repton, Robert (Ursula) Bartlett of Hinesville, Ga., and Tonnis (Shirley) Bartlett of Brewton; five sisters, Joyce Dyess  of Lenox, Ann (Ray) Butler of Repton, Melba (Buddy) Stanford of Range, Doris Zellers of Castleberry and Charlotte (Frankie) Bell of Castleberry; two aunts and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct.13, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with Brother Randy Steadman and Brother Robert Wilson officiating. Burial followed at Springhill Methodist Church Cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
