Mrs. Sarah Ann Hanes, 62, died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009, in a Mobile hospital. She was a native of Brewton and a resident of Mobile for the past 30 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Mennonite Church.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Hanes of Mobile; two sons, Tony Tagudar of Brewton and Jeff (Bridgot) Tagudar of Mobile; two daughters,  Melody (Wade) Wilcox of Castleberry, and Nina (John) Stokes of Robertsdale; two brothers, Freddie Pugh of Robertsdale and Keith Jett of Brewton; three sisters, Odessa Gibson of Marion, Delilah Minchew of Jacksonville, Fla., and Elaine Parker of Brewton; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 4, at 3 p.m. at the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with Speaker Marvin Metzler officiating. Burial followed at Calvary Mennonite Cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
