Mrs. Sibyl Sparks Killam, 77, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, in Atlanta, Ga. She was a native and lifelong resident of Byrneville, Fla. and attended the Beulah Chapel Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Cora Sparks; a brother, Bernell Sparks; and a brother-in-law, Robert Crockett.
She is survived by husband of 59 years, Edgar Killam of Byrneville; two sisters, Christine Crockett of Cantonment, Fla., and Milbra and Bob Heck of Pensacola, Fla.; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Evelyn Killam and Betty and John E. Killam, all of Byrneville, and Earline and Calvin Hayles of Lottie, and Madeline Sparks of Brewton.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 10, at 11 a.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Shelton Kindig and the Rev. Ronald Broadhead officiating. Burial followed at Beulah Chapel Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel directing.
