TRMCC girls take Pace race

Once again, the T.R. Miller Lady Tiger cross country team took first place in Pace Tuesday.
Karisa Nelson took first place overall for the Lady Tigers.
Katie Nelson, Shelby Youngblood, and Amber Nelson followed suit as T.R. Miller claimed the top four spots in the race.
Nelson finished with a time of 19:10 to lead all runners and Katie Nelson finished with a time of 19:30.
Youngblood finished with a time of 19:55 and Amber Nelson finished with a time of 21:19.
Amber Terry placed 10th with a time of 23:11 followed by Taylor Guthrie and Abbie Carlson.
Guthrie ran a time of 26:38 and Carlson finished with a time of 29:48.
The T.R. Miller Tiger boys finished second in the race and were led by Brandon Nelson who took the overall first place spot with a time of 17:28.
Matt Ray took seventh place with a time of 19:01 and Christian Carlson finished in 22nd place with a time of 21:24.
Carter Ferezel and Ryan Snowden finished with times of 26:17 and 27:43 respectively.
Ferezel finished in 31st place for T.R. Miller.
Denver Harris finished with a time of 28:29 for the Tigers of Brewton.
Both T.R. Miller teams will be back in action  Thursday, Nov. 5 when they travel to Auburn to participate in the 3A sectional meet.
