Mr. Riley White, 75, died Oct. 24, 2009, at a local hospital after a brief illness. He was a native and life long resident of Brewton. He was of the Baptist faith and was a retired electrician from Container Corpora-tion/Smurfit with 35 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Seale White of Brewton; a son, Steven R. (Lisa) White of Niceville, Fla.; two daughters, Beverly (Bo) Haveard, and Allyson (Tony) Chandler, both of Brewton; five grandchildren, Shon (Valerie) Haveard, Bart Haveard, C.J. Nowling, Molly White and Micah Nowling; and two great-grandchildren, Chloe Haveard and Landon Haveard.
Funeral services were held Oct. 27, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Fitts, the Rev. John Finklea and the Rev. Ron Headley officiating. Burial followed at Union Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
