Hunter Education classes to be held
A hunter education and field day class will be held Nov. 7 and 8 at First United Methodist Church.
The hunter education class will be held on both days from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 7 and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 8 Students must be at least 10 years of age to receive credit.
The course is free to the public and students must attend both days to receive credit.
The field day class will be held Nov. 8 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and students must take the Internet/CD course on a computer and bring the printed report to the class.

CDs are available at the County Extension Office or by contacting the District 5 W&FF headquarters at 251-626-5474.
Students will need their social security number.
WSN band selling cups Friday night
The W.S. Neal Band Boosters will be selling 250, 32 ounce cups  next Friday night at the Battle of Murder Creek game against T.R. Miller.
The cost is $2.50 and can be filled up with a soft drink or peanuts.
A refill cost of $1.00 will be charged for a drink with no refill on peanuts.
The cups will be sold as a first-come-first-served and will be in the south side concession stand at the end of the field near the scoreboard.
