Mr. Henry Clyde Barnes, 81, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, in a Pensacola hospital. He was a native and long time resident of Flomaton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the owner of Barnes Auto Store. He was a member of Norris Masonic Lodge for more than 50 years, and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Josie Pearl Barnes of Flomaton; a daughter, Barbara Jo (Dewayne) White of Flomaton; one grandson, Michael Joe Lambeth of Flomaton; and a great-grandson, Klayton Blaze Lambeth.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 10 a.m. at the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Springs Cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
