County to post speed limit on Mancil Rock

Residents along Mancil Rock Road will soon be able to put their concerns over traffic issues to rest.
Escambia County Commissioner Raymond Wiggins said residents along the road had expressed concerns over vehicles speeding in the area.
Commissioners agreed to post a speed limit on the road at 25 mph.
Also, residents along Peacock Road will no longer be subjected to the dangers of big trucks using the road. Commissioner Brandon Smith said residents on the road have expressed concerns with speeding and other traffic related issues.
Commissioners agreed to post the road “no thru trucks” sign on the road.
