James “Buckshot” Fleming|Monroeville

Mr. James “Buckshot” Fleming, 38, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at his residence. He was a graduate of Monroe County High School and worked with Alabama Pulp Company as an assistant D operator. He was a member of Mexia Baptist Church and he was preceded in death by his father, Paul Fleming; and his mother-in-law, Charlene Stifflemire.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Fleming of Monroeville; a daughter, Allison Fleming of Monroeville; his mother, Yolanda Fleming of Monroeville; a brother, Paul “Pee Wee” (Jennifer) Fleming of Excel; a sister, Rachel Ann Fleming of Monroeville; his grandmother, Ruth Nolan of East Brewton; his father-in-law, Gary Downs; a brother-in-law, Joey Downs of Huntsville; and several aunts, uncles and other family members.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 9, at 3 p.m. at Mexia Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne McMillan officiating. Burial followed at Mexia Cemetery with Monroe Chapel Funeral Home directing.
