Mrs. Stevie Jo Martin, 60, died Monday, Nov. 9, 2009, in a Pensacola hospital. She was a native of Birmingham and had been a resident of the Brewton area for the past 47 years. She worked as a physical education aide at W.S. Neal High School and was a member of the Ridge Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Evelyn Goneke.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Martin of East Brewton; a son, Greg (Lisa) Darby of East Brewton; a grandson, Joshua Grayson of East Brewton; an aunt, Evie Mae Watson of East Brewton; and a special friend, Kim Hayes of Brewton.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Nov. 11, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Craver’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 7 p.m. at the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with the Rev. James Sturdivant officiating and Craver’s Funeral Home directing. Burial will be private.
