Mrs. Edythe Olgia Brown, 90, of Murder Creek Road, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009 in a Pensacola, Fla., health care facility after an extended illness.
She was a native of Eva and a former resident of Pontiac, Mich., before moving to Brewton in 1983. She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and the Michigan United Field Trial Association.
She is survived by one son, Joel Brown of Brewton; one daughter, Patricia (Ed) Martin of Lady Lake, Fla., three grandchildren, Dawn (Joe) Boyea of Holly Hill, Mich.; Todd Martin of Royal Oak, Mich.; Heather (Jonathan) Griffin of Ojai, Calif.; one great-grandchild, Kristyn Martin of Clarkston, Mich.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Nov. 21 from 2 p.m. to service time at Craver’s Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Bryan Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
