Mrs. Lemmie Frances Goodson, 72, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, at a Santa Rosa County hospital. She was a native of Jay, Fla., and a resident of Century for most of her life. She attended the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church and was preceded in death by her husband, John Goodson, and a daughter, Teresa Wells.
She is survived by two sons, Jonathan Wells of Century, and James Wells of Brewton; a daughter, Dianne Burkett of Byrneville, Fla.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Chiquita Mathis of Century; and numerous other relatives.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Nov. 29, at 2 p.m. at Abundant Life Assembly of God Church with Brother William Cozart officiating. Burial followed at Flomaton Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
