The Brewton and East Brewton Christmas parade has been cancelled for tomorrow because of predictions of rainy weather, but it will be rescheduled for Saturday, Dec. 19, at 2 p.m.
Chamber of commerce officials said organizers were concerned about the children who would be participating in the parade, since the weather is expected to be rainy and cold. There is an 80 percent chance of rain at 2 p.m. Saturday, the time the parade was scheduled to start.
