Mrs. Loretta Maudine “Dean” Glass, 73, died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, at a Pensacola hospital. She was a native of Bobtown, Ken. where she graduated from Eubank High School in 1954 as valedictorian. She had been a resident of the Flomaton area for 23 years, coming from Pensacola. She was a member of Sardis Baptist Church in the Wabeek  community.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, James P. “Jimmy” Glass of Flomaton; a son, James P. (Susan) Glass Jr. of Conroe, Texas; two daughters, Evelyn L. (Jay) Gutknecht of Pace, Fla. and Elizabeth (Don) Sutley of Pensacola; three sisters, Marie Dove of Elizabethtown, Ken., Maxine French of Science Hill, Ken. and Rose Estep of Somerset, Ken.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 19, at 2 p.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Earl Green officiating. Burial followed at Sardis Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
